Near Houston, there is a hydroponics farm on 61 acres where people are taught how to grow, maintain, harvest, prepare, and preserve fresh grown foods.
It is our desire to provide housing on the farm for trainees to learn the skills of hydroponics, and then be able to train others.
With your help, we will be able to build at least 4 of these houses over the next two years.
The estimated cost for the construction of each house, currently, is $57,932.87. This amount includes a quarter (1/4) of the estimated community infrastructure (water, sewer, electric, etc.)
Building homes is a step in our plan to have one graduated trainee every six months for each house we build.
We have already received a matching grant offering in the amount of $25,000.00 for the first house.
Building that first house will be a major asset to the farm, and encourage further growth and support, and more houses.
Our goal for each campaign is $60,000.00, to build one house, and have a little left over for options and contingencies.
All donations (any amount) toward this goal are tax-deductible.
Your donation here will help build the first of the four housing units for veterans while being trained in Hydroponics. They will learn how to plant, grow, harvest, prepare, and store food grown at our facility, and then be able to teach others.
Donations beyond this goal will be paid forward into the future houses.
How much of my donation goes to work?
Every donation is given to the organization.
5% is kept in our general fund to be able to assist others as an emergency reserve.
